1.The state or condition of being quotivated, or having a strong reason to act to accomplish something, based on having read a quote relevant to a personal experience. This is usually incited by searching for and sharing a passage from "brainyquote.com" It's unclear if the quote causes the desire to act or vice versa; the term "quotivation" does not distinguish.

To be quotivated, one needs not fact check the quote for accuracy nor ever have read the quote in its original context. One is usually not quotivated by the quote itself, but the sharing of same on social media and the subsequent signs of support from followers who also need not know the origins of the quote.
